University of Niš, Faculty of Electronic Engineering

University education in electronics started in 1960. as a remote department of Electronics of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Belgrade. In 1968, a separate Faculty of Electronic Engineering (http://elfak.ni.ac.yu/phptest/new/index.php) was established within The University of Niš (http://www.ni.ac.yu). In the meantime, more than four thousand engineers graduated at the faculty. The faculty staff consists of 150 teaching/research members, with strong orientation to industry. The teaching process is organised in six areas: Automation, Computer Science, Electronics, Industrial Power Systems, Microelectronics, and Telecommunications

University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences

Faculty of Technical Sciences (http://www.ftn.ns.ac.yu) takes its origin from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Novi Sad, established by the University of Belgrade in 1960, which became a part of the University of Novi Sad (http://www.ns.ac.yu) during the same year. Presently, the Faculty covers many technical fields such as: electronic and communication engineering, industrial engineering and management, power system engineering, computing and automation engineering, energy and process engineering, and so on. More than 6000 both undergraduate and graduate students are presently studying at the Faculty, which has 400 teaching staff.
